Welcome

“Learning to Live Life to the Full” (John 10:10),

Brockington is a caring and forward-looking community where staff and students learn to live well together. We want every child to flourish academically, spiritually, in their talents, and through the development of their character.

While this website gives you a glimpse of our values and opportunities, the best way to experience Brockington is to see it in action. I would be delighted to welcome you personally for a tour, so you can meet our staff and students and get a real sense of what makes our school special. Please do get in touch to arrange a visit.

Our first two days of ski lessons are complete, and our students are already making fantastic progress on the slopes! It’s been amazing to watch their confidence grow as they learn new skills and start mastering their techniques ⛷️💪

Last night’s activity was snow tubing, and it was an instant favourite! Students were racing down the track and then sprinting back up for another go, even though the slope looked much steeper than it really was! The evening was filled with laughter, excitement, and lots of fun 🎉

After such an active day, everyone enjoyed a calm and restful night. This evening, we’re looking forward to a delicious taste of Italy with rich hot chocolate and sweet focaccia 🇮🇹☕🍞

A huge thank you to

Our Year 7/8 girls bowed out of Round 2 of the National Cup after a hard‑fought 4–1 defeat against a very strong side. The team created plenty of chances but just couldn’t find that clinical edge on the day. Still, we’re incredibly proud of their effort, determination, and attitude throughout the match 👏

Our focus now shifts to our upcoming league fixtures, onwards and upwards! 💪⚽️

After a full night and day of travelling, our Year 9 Ski Group arrived safe and well in Prato Nevoso, Italy yesterday! 🙌⛷️

Collecting all the ski equipment proved to be a bit of a balancing act, definitely a skill they’ll master with practice! But today they’re already out on the slopes, having a fantastic time at ski school and learning the basics.

More updates and photos coming later this week, stay tuned! 📸✨

Our Ethos & Values

At Brockington College, our mission “learning to live life to the full” shapes everything we do. Guided by our eight Christian values, we aim to create a caring, respectful community where students grow in character, develop their potential, and learn to make a positive difference in the world.

Compassion

"When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd." (Matthew 9:36)

Forgiveness

"Forgive one another as quickly and thoroughly as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32)

Justice

"Turn your back on evil, work for the good and don’t quit. God loves this kind of thing, never turns away from his friends." (Psalms 37:27-28)

Koinonia

"So speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you’ll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind." (1 Thessalonians 5:11)

Learning

"Wise men and women are always learning, always listening for fresh insights." (Proverbs 18:15)

Perseverance

"Never get tired of doing good." (2 Thessalonians 3:13)

Respect

"Respect the authorities, whatever their level; they are God’s emissaries for keeping order... Treat everyone you meet with dignity." (1 Peter 2:17)

Wisdom

"Don’t turn your back on wisdom, for she will protect you. Love her, and she will guard you. Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do!" (Proverbs 4:6-7)
