Welcome

“Learning to Live Life to the Full” (John 10:10),

Brockington is a caring and forward-looking community where staff and students learn to live well together. We want every child to flourish academically, spiritually, in their talents, and through the development of their character.

While this website gives you a glimpse of our values and opportunities, the best way to experience Brockington is to see it in action. I would be delighted to welcome you personally for a tour, so you can meet our staff and students and get a real sense of what makes our school special. Please do get in touch to arrange a visit.

Last term, students across KS3 and KS4 took part in the UK Bebras Problem-Solving Challenge, and we were proud to see many achieve excellent results, including Distinction Awards for those placing in the top 25% within the school and Gold Awards for students scoring in the top 10% nationally 🏆🧠

As a result, Gold Award recipients from Years 7–9 were invited to take part in the UK Raspberry Pi Foundation Bebras Coding Challenge in March, alongside all KS4 Computer Science students. The challenge required students to choose a level of difficulty and complete a range of coding tasks.

We are delighted to share that the following students achieved a Gold Award in the Coding Challenge, placing them in the top 10% nationally for their chosen category:

🌟 KS4 Gold Award winners
Henry
Rohan
Ava

Our Ethos & Values

At Brockington College, our mission “learning to live life to the full” shapes everything we do. Guided by our eight Christian values, we aim to create a caring, respectful community where students grow in character, develop their potential, and learn to make a positive difference in the world.

Compassion

"When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd." (Matthew 9:36)

Forgiveness

"Forgive one another as quickly and thoroughly as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32)

Justice

"Turn your back on evil, work for the good and don’t quit. God loves this kind of thing, never turns away from his friends." (Psalms 37:27-28)

Koinonia

"So speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you’ll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind." (1 Thessalonians 5:11)

Learning

"Wise men and women are always learning, always listening for fresh insights." (Proverbs 18:15)

Perseverance

"Never get tired of doing good." (2 Thessalonians 3:13)

Respect

"Respect the authorities, whatever their level; they are God’s emissaries for keeping order... Treat everyone you meet with dignity." (1 Peter 2:17)

Wisdom

"Don’t turn your back on wisdom, for she will protect you. Love her, and she will guard you. Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do!" (Proverbs 4:6-7)
