2021

GCSE results for 2021 were awarded as teacher assessed grades (TAGs). These are based on student performance and progress, which were then standardised by staff within the school, before being sent to examination boards for moderation.

  • Attainment 8 score for 2021 was 52.52
  • 53.9% of students achieved a 5+ in English and Maths, an increase of 4.3% from 2020
  • 76.3% of students achieved a 4+ in English and Maths, an increase of 4.8% from 2020
  • 73.9% of students achieved 5 or more GCSEs at grade 4+
  • 51.5% of students achieved 5 or more GCSEs at grade 5+
  • 36.1% of students were entered for the English Baccalaureate

GCSE results for 2020 were awarded as centre assessment grades (CAGs). These are based on student performance and progress, which were then standardised by staff within the school, before being sent to examination boards for moderation.

  • 49.6% of students achieved a 5+ in English and Maths, an increase of 7.7% from 2019
  • 71.5% of students achieved a 4+ in English and Maths, an increase of 6.1%from 2019

  • 48.3% of students achieved 5 or more GCSEs at grade 5+
